TrustMark Reg. No 1061
TrustMark is the scheme supported by the Government, the building industry and consumer groups to help you find reliable and trustworthy tradespeople to make improvements and repairs to your home.

To check our accreditation click the Trustmark logo to the left to visit the Trustmark site,then type in Homeshield’s Head Office postcode of CF23 8RU and select ‘Painters & Decorators’ from the drop down list that appears below. Alternatively go to the bottom left-hand corner of the page and type ‘Homeshield’ in the box saying ‘Find a Trustmark registered firm by name’

Companies House
The main function of Companies House is to manage the incorporation, dissolution and storing of information regarding companies in the UK. It is a useful source of reference for consumers who would like to check on a company that they are doing, or about to do business with.

For example the company’s address and how long it has been in business can be verified, it is also worth checking to see if the company is still active or if it has been dissolved; or if it has filed its Annual Accounts or Annual Returns on time. If the answer to either of the latter two questions is no it may well be worth checking the company out in more detail before proceeding to do business with them.

All of these services are free via the “Webcheck” facility on the homepage of the Companies House web-site. For a small fee you can also check out the Annual Accounts or see who the individuals behind the company are. Andura
Andura are the largest manufacturers of long life textured coatings in Europe, with an excellent track record in large commercial projects and home improvements. Established in 1962, The Andura Group manufacture a wide range of products for the protection and decoration of building surfaces. The masonry coatings comprise of textured, smooth and clear coatings, all designed to meet the requirements of durability and long life protection.
Andura is a British Standards Registered Firm (approved 1992) and manufactures products under the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System. The "Tex-Gard Classic 21" holds the prestigious BBA approval, originally approved in 1989. Due to the specialist nature of many of the Andura Products, they are not available direct to the general public but are supplied via Homeshield under Andura's Associated Installation Approval for companies which have shown stability, integrity and a total commitment to quality workmanship. British Board of Agrément
An organisation partnered with Government and whose Governing Board includes representation on behalf of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. Our coatings supplier Andura T.M.C. Ltd, is a registree, acknowlegding the high standard of the products we employ. (click logo to visit website).

FairTrades
FairTrades has been trading since 1983, offering vetted companies to consumers, and value added products and services to the trade sector. FairTrades are now one of the largest multi trade associations in the UK, with the largest directory of quality ranked home improvement professionals. In early 2000 FairTrades was purchased by HomePro, an online company matching homeowners to vetted, quality Trade Professionals. The combination of FairTrades and HomePro has produced what is today, the UK's largest quality ranked directory of Home Improvement professionals, and one of the UK’s largest multi trade associations. Federation of Master Builders
The leading voice for all medium and small sized building companies in the UK, liasing with Government, other sectors of the construction industry and the general public.
